Harvey Helps Plant Flowers
Today felt different when I woke up. The air felt warmer, and the sunshine looked bright through the window.
“Spring is here!” I barked happily.
Mom smiled. “It’s the perfect day to plant flowers.”
Dad brought soil, little plants, and colorful pots. I helped dig rows in the garden with my paws.
“Gentle digging, Harvey,” Mom reminded me.
We placed the tiny flowers into the soil and patted the dirt around them.
Then we planted some flowers in bright pots for the porch.
Soon the garden looked colorful and cheerful.
A bee buzzed nearby. “Bees love flowers,” Dad said. “Flowers give bees food, and bees help flowers grow.”
I watched butterflies and bees visit the flowers.
Flowers make our homes beautiful. They help bees and butterflies. And they make people smile.
