Harvey’s Clean Teeth Dream
Note to Parents: Make bedtime brushing part of a shared ritual. Kids mimic Harvey’s joy in routine.
Story
Hey there—it’s Harvey again. The moon is high, my eyes are sleepy, and my mouth feels squeaky clean. That’s because I just brushed my teeth! Brushing is one of my favorite bedtime habits. I like to watch the tiny bubbles appear on my toothbrush—swish, swish, swish. My toothpaste tastes like minty snowflakes. When I’m done, I rinse, smile at the mirror, and say, “Good job, Harvey!” Sometimes, I imagine the toothpaste bubbles chasing away the sugar bugs that try to stick to my teeth. I picture them dancing right down the drain—bye-bye, sugar bugs! My dentist says clean teeth help me eat my favorite crunchy carrots and keep my smile shiny and bright. That makes me feel proud. Now I’m cozy in bed. My teeth are clean, my paws are still, and my mind feels peaceful. I take one last breath in…and let it out slowly. Tomorrow will be another day to smile. Good night, my friends. Let’s dream of happy things—and clean teeth.
